Olympic Gold Medallist Lori Dupuis is an Honourary Captain of Team Cornwall.

Recognized as one of the best female hockey players in the world, Lori was a long time member of Canada's National Women's Ice Hockey team, logging over 100 games. She has played in three World Championships, winning three gold medals, and in two Winter Olympics, winning a gold and silver medal.

Lori currently resides in Brampton, Ontario where she works for the Royal Bank of Canada.

Lori played all her minor hockey in Cornwall, before attending the University of Toronto. She played for the University of Toronto Blues from 1991 to 1997, serving as captain for three years. She was also nominated as the University of Toronto's Female Athlete-of-the-Year in 1996 and in 1997.

Lori was inducted into the Cornwall Sports Hall of Fame in 2000.

The Cornwall Sports Hall of Fame is located in the Civic Complex, overlooking the St. Lawrence River in Downtown Cornwall. The Sports Hall of Fame was created to celebrate the heritage of sport in the community, and to recognize the accomplishments and efforts of the many athletes and builders who have worked hard to promote their own individual sports.
